Manella Mahfouz: Empowering Her Family Business Through Microcredit
Manella Mahfouz, a 44-year-old woman from southern Lebanon, is the proud owner of a family-run catering business that has been passed down for two generations. Dedicated to preparing daily meals, she has worked tirelessly to sustain and grow the business.
To enhance her operations and improve efficiency, Manella received a loan through the project "Economic Strengthening and Social Stability of Vulnerable and Displaced Communities in South Lebanon," funded by Spanish Cooperation and implemented by ADR in partnership with FPS and AIDA.
With this financial support, she was able to purchase essential production equipment, upgrade kitchen appliances, and renovate her workspace. These improvements not only enhanced her working conditions but also significantly increased her productivity.
